The 6-foot-5 Lake Stevens senior plans to enroll early with the Bulldogs so he can get a head start on his college football career.
Jacob Eason, the nation’s top-rated prep quarterback, signed his financial aid agreement with Georgia on Friday afternoon.
The 6-foot-5 Lake Stevens senior plans to enroll early with the Bulldogs so he can get a head start on his college football career. The paperwork is non-binding and not the same as a letter of intent but allows for UGA to have unlimited contact with Eason.
“He wants to get to Georgia so he can compete in spring practice,” Lake Stevens coach Tom Tri said.
Former area players Max Browne and Kellen Moore enrolled early, too.

“His sophomore year as he was progressing we realized he was going to be a national recruit so we made sure to put him in a position to be successful early on,” Tri said.
Eason made his commitment last summer and has stuck with it, even as he was wooed by at least 15 other big-time Division I programs including Washington, Florida, Alabama, Michigan and Nebraska.
