Dog-Friendly Vacations

Want to bring your four-legged friend on your next vacation? We know that dog lovers enjoy spending time with their furry friends but also tend to feel bad when leaving town without their pets. Why not bring your dog on your next vacation? Create awesome memories with your four-legged friends when you travel to these canine-friendly cities:
Cape Cod is a picturesque nautical area that is dog friendly. Your dog is able to visit some of the local beaches, the Cape Cod Rail Trail, and even ride the ferry for free. Fan of wine and delicious food? Then,  Sonoma, California is your perfect getaway. You'll find delicious wine and food but you'll also be able to bring your four-legged friend on hikes or to restaurants that have outdoor seating. Want to take in the fall colors in Maine? Head to  Bar Harbor where there are dog parks, hiking trails, and more, all in a quant town. If you're a fan of craft beer, travel to picturesque  Bend, Oregon, where your dog will enjoy plenty of activities and even try the Dawg Grog (a non-alcoholic brew just for your pet).
Or if you'd like your next getaway to be the beach, then head to  Cape San Blas, Florida,  which features dog friendly beaches, hiking trails, and more! If you're on the West coast looking for a beach vacation, go to  Carmel, California  where you'll find an off-leash beach and plenty of dog friendly restaurants and hotels. Consider extending your trip to  San Diego , which is one of the most dog friendly cities in the country. Here, you'll find dog friendly beaches, parks, and the epic Surf Dog Competition. Finally,  Orlando, Florida  is known for its' excellent family-oriented amusement parks. Bring your dog with you, who isn't allowed in the amusement parks, but is welcome to dine outdoors with you, visit a boutique, or stop by Woof Gang Bakery for some doggie treats.
Is there is a city that didn't make the list that is on your radar to visit? Be sure to check out  Kimpton or  Loews hotels across the U.S.. They are pet-friendly and better yet, they don't charge extra fees for pets. Or, if you are an outdoorsy person, consider taking your dog camping, hiking, or canoeing. Keep in mind that some National Parks do not allow dogs and some will only allow dogs on the camp grounds (be sure to check the rules before leaving home). We hope you enjoy your next vacation with your four-legged best friend!
