Tracking Holiness
Vol. 25,  No. 4                     Put Down Your Weapons           Winter 2015
HERE IS YOUR NEW ISSUE OF HOLY GROUND

I felt diminished, hurt and defensive.

His voice grew in intensity, as he argued to prove his point.

The latest issue of Holy Ground takes a look at  how we respond to those we disagree with. In a world of adversaries, enemies, and extreme views is there any way we can see each other as persons?

How does our prayer enter into the deep divides and extreme polarities of our day? What options are revealed to us through a contemplative lens, which sees the world as a whole? What do the narratives of Jesus teach us about ground for reconciliation beyond my way or the highway?

I have been doing an inventory of my personal stockpile of armaments. Want to join me?

Put Down Your Weapon.  Read it here!

 A Deeply Revolutionary Matter

To put it boldly, contemplation is the only ultimate answer to the unreal and insane world that our financial systems and our advertising culture and our chaotic and unexamined emotions encourage us to inhabit.

To learn contemplative practice is to learn what we need so as to live truthfully and honestly and lovingly.

It is a deeply revolutionary matter.
