National Bookshop Day!

Saturday August 8th will be the fifth National Bookshop Day. It's when we celebrate all things books and reading. We have a lineup of authors from 10am, so come along and meet some of your favourites. 

The list of authors we have appearing is below.

 10am. Jen Storer, author of Tensy Farlow, The Accidental Princess, Truly Tan and more. (Children)

10am Kylie Ladd, author of Mothers and Daughters, Into my Arms and Last Summer (Adult)

10.30-11.30 Nicole Hayes, author of The Whole of My World & One True Thing (Teen)

10.30-11.30 Nicki Greenberg, author of The Great Gatsby (Graphic novel) Teddy Took the Train, Monkey Red & Monkey Blue (Picture books)

11-12 Michael Pryor, author of The Laws of Magic, Chronicles of Krangor, 10 Futures, The Extraordinaires & Leo Da Vinci. (Young teen & children)

12.30-1.30 Fran Cusworth, author of The Sisters of Spicefield (Adult)

1-2 Zana Fraillon, author of Monstrum House & No Stars to Wish On. (Children)

1.30-2.30 Ann Turner, author of The Lost Swimmer (Adult)

1.30-2.30 Corinne Fenton, author of Hey Baby, Hey Dad You're Great & Bob the Railway Dog (Picture books)

We will also have a couple of other people dropping by during the day as well, to help in the fun. Books by the authors will be available for purchase, or if you already have some, you are welcome to bring them along and get them signed. 
We will be up to our usual tricks of having a continuous story going on the window and cupcakes will be on offer as well.

All in all, there will be good times be be had for a few hours, so come along and join us between 10am & 2.30
