S&T men's soccer camps set for July 25 & 26

Sign-up for camp

ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T's men's soccer team will hold its annual summer camp on July 25 and 26 at the S&T Soccer Field on campus and the Miner Dome, located adjacent to the complex.

The camp for players from the ninth to the 12th grade, which will be run by Miner head coach Gabe Hall, will consist of two field sessions and one lecture on each day.  The first session will take place from 10 a.m.-noon on and the other from 2-4:30 p.m. with a lunch break in between the sessions. Lectures will follow after the last field session on both days.

The purpose of the camp is to provide the committed soccer player the opportunity to train and be evaluated by the S&T coaching staff in a competitive training environment.

The focus of the field sessions will be on the development of technical and tactical awareness through speed of play and game situations. In addition, campers will get information sessions on the recruiting process, player development and the demands and expectations for a student-athlete at the collegiate level.

The cost of the camp is $150 with registration being done through minercamps.com; the camp is limited to the first 96 who sign up.  All campers will receive a camp T-shirt.

In addition, all campers must provide their own indoor and outdoor shoes, shinguards, a water bottle and other weather-appropriate gear. Medical insurance is also required for all participants.
