If you are a Hindu, plz retweet this. Murshidabad district, is becoming unlivable for Hindus, esply the rural areas east of the Bhagirathi River (which covers practically everything except the town of Berhampore). I had pointed this out some ten years back citing Hariharpara as an example. The `secular`media had immediately jumped upon me, shouting `communal, communal'. Now Hindus can't burn their dead at Arjunpur shamshan under Farakka P S, can't blow conch-shells (shankh), can't do alpona (floral patterns on the floor' for fear of Islamic fundamentalists. One of the worst-affected places is Beldanga'whr Hindus had been stopped from doing 'Nagar Sankirtan' (traversing the town singing hymns to Lord Vishnu). The police and administration practically lick the feet of the fundamentalists. One beacon in this darkness is Swami Pradiptananda (Kartik Maharaj) of the Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Beldanga, who has steadfastly fought for the rights of Hindus. But the situation is indeed very grim
