Men's Soccer Announces New Assistant: Woody Hartman

Langhorne, PA - Cairn University is excited to announce the hiring of new men's assistant soccer coach, Woody Hartman. Hartman, a well known player and coach in mid-Atlantic soccer circles, most recently was an assistant coach at Drexel University until 2009. Hartman had two stints of assistant coaching witht the Dragons for a total of 17 years.

In addition to Hartman's Drexel experience, he was on the coaching staff of the Philadelphia Kixx and Philadelphia Textile University (currently Philadelphia University). Hartman played professionally with the Philadelphia Fever and attended Temple University where he played under the guidance of American soccer legend Walt Bahr.
 
We are very excited to announce the hire of Coach Hartman," stated Cairn head coach Luke Gibson. "His knowledge of the Philadelphia soccer scene and experience at the highest levels of the college game are unbelievable assets to our program. Equally important is that he has an immense passion to coach and lead that will make an immediate impact on and off the field with our program."
 
Hartman currently resides in Bensalem with his wife, Kerry, and has been blessed with four children.
