After more than a decade of world-wide touring and three album releases, Rebecca Hall and Ken Anderson -- otherwise known as the folk duo Hungrytown -- have earned a reputation for the quality and authenticity of their songwriting. Join us as we welcome them to the stage!
"Hungrytown is American folk music at its zenith, retro yet shiny and new, like a freshly minted copper penny. If you've been craving folk music of substance, head off to Hungrytown." -Feminist Review
"Hall's vocals are wonderful, pitch perfect and rich in emotion, perfectly paired with Anderson's harmonies. Hall and Anderson have cultivated a wonderful musical rapport that will endear them to many as they continue to tour and record." -Seven Days

A Talk by Dan Skeldon, Noted Local Meteorologist
Join him for a talk at the Ocean City Free Public Library!
Wednesday, December 9th
6:30pm
El Nino. The Polar Vortex.
Will either or both impact our upcoming winter?
The Farmer's Almanac
says it is going to be a cold and snowy winter. But is there any truth to that?
Press of Atlantic City meteorologist Dan Skeldon will discuss what he expects may happen during the upcoming winter of 2015-16. Will there be pipe-freezing cold like the last few winters? How about a major snowstorm? Or a snowy March for the third straight year?
Dan will give his winter forecast, and take questions from the audience on any South Jersey weather topic. He'll also review this year's hurricane season, and look ahead to what 2016 may hold in store...
Meteorologist Dan Skeldon has been forecasting South Jersey weather for 12 years, 11 as chief meteorologist for NBC40 before it went off the air in December of 2014. He now serves as meteorologist for The Press of Atlantic City and for Longport Media radio stations.
You can email
Dan or visit him on social media. Dan keeps up a very active presence on both
Facebook and
Twitter, and has a nightly live stream on Facebook that you can watch and interact with live.
Admission is free and tickets are not required. For more information, please contact Julie at (609)399-2434 x5222.
