Friday's Friend: Dog Adoption,Lab Rescue of L.R.C.P., Inc.

Paw! You know my opinion concerning Black Labrador Retrievers and Dog Adoption. So, I won't paw how great they are and why you need to adopt one- I'll just introduce you to a beautiful Black Labrador Retriever who was introduced to me by my friend "Lab Lady" and I think is the pawfect companion.   WOOF!

Meet Buck!

This character is truly a special dog!  He comes from the country and has no exposure to big cities- isn't he blessed- so he'll need a "Forever Home" in a single family stand-alone home in a suburban neighborhood or a rural area!  WOOF!!!!

Buck is one energetic and affectionate 11 month old male Black Labrador Retriever! He will have you in a good mood all day with this silly antics and will greet you by spinning in circles around your legs and giving you "kisses" at your asking.

He knows the basic commands like "drop it","sit", "stay", "ready", and "get the ball!" A quick learner, Buck is matering "lay down!" He recently learned to climbs the stairs in his foster's home in a matter of minutes.See him do stairs at Up the Stairs!. He loves to burn off energy by going for a long walk with his humans!

Pawsly, Buck will need a family that will forgive his occasional puppy behavior (mouthing) and provide consistent training and positive reinforcement. He is treat-motivated, very focused, and will work hard at learning anything you ask of him!

He is house and crate trained.  He has experience with children, so he's approved for ages 6 and older. No cat history though! He is good with other dogs!

Buck would love to go to a home with another dog which he could run and play with, but, he'd be happy to be your only dog too!

Now am just letting you know this, "Buck has a deformity to his head and his left eye has Microphthalmia which is a condition in which the eyeball is smaller than normal. He has an under bite, which does not bother him."

Buck is up to date on vaccines.
