Eighties popstar Belinda Carlisle looked as though time had stopped as she made an appearance on Loose Women.

The Heaven and Earth singer was a picture of youth as she walked on next to fellow eighties veteran and presenter Coleen Nolan.

Coleen noticed how fantastic she looked and cheekily said: "Thank you for joining us Belinda, you look amazing! I thought you'd come on and look slightly ragged but oh well."

Belinda - who gained fame as the lead singer of the Go-Go's in the early eighties - looked amazing in a black dress with her hair looking perfectly blown out.

With soft smoky eyes and a touch of lippy the gorgeous star laughed as she spoke about her 40-year career.

The 57-year-old has just released a greatest hits collection of 29 singles from her own solo career, and is set to go back out on tour in the UK next week.

She confessed that she found it difficult to remember what music she has recorded over the years.

When asked by Coleen if she personally picked the songs, she said: "There are so many that I don't even remember. There are songs in there that I don't even know I ever did.

"I've been doing this for 40 years, so there is a lot of things in there that I do remember and a lot of things I don't."

The Circle in the Sand hitmaker also spoke about her 32-year marriage to husband Morgan Mason, who she met and then moved in with just a few days later.

"We met at a party about 32 years ago, and he wasn't very nice to me the first time [we met] and I was like ‘no one talks to me like that’.

"Of course that was the way to get me, not being nice to me… So I ran into him a couple of days later, he asked me out, we went out and I moved in the next day.”

Belinda - who struggled with addiction and alcoholism - told the Loose Women "everybody has their demons" but that now she didn't "really care" about how people now saw her.
