Call For Submissions!
Level Best Books is excited to announce they will be publishing a new anthology in July of 2017: Noir at the Salad Bar: Culinary Tales With a Bite.
We seek crime stories featuring food or drink, restaurants, bars or the culinary arts in the following genres: mystery, thriller, suspense, caper, and horror. We will consider stories from any time period (historical, modern day, future, etc.). Authors from any geographic area are welcome to submit stories to Level Best Books, and stories may be set anywhere in the world. Culinary professionals are encouraged to submit, ensuring their stories adhere to the overall theme.
Submissions are open from December 1st 2016 through April 30th 2017. Submissions must be previously unpublished (to include self-published) and be 5,000 words or less. Both previously published and unpublished writers are encouraged to submit. We will consider up to two submissions per author per anthology.
