Father and Daughter Shot Early Monday in Bridgeview
Woman entered the home and opened fire, then shot herself in the kitchen in a home on South Roberts Road, police said.
A 52-year-old father and his 27-year-old daughter were shot in Bridgeview early Monday by a woman who broke into the home, opened fire, then shot herself to death in the kitchen, according to local police.
The shooting took place in the 7200 block of South Roberts Road.
The father and daughter were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where they are in critical condition. A mother and two teen-aged children escaped from the home, reports the Chicago Tribune.

NBC Chicago reports the woman who entered the home was dressed entirely in black.
Bridgeview police told the Tribune that 15 rounds were fired inside the house, and a semi-automatic handgun was recovered from the scene.
