The TSA Elementary Teacher Librarian works with the District Library Coordinator and other school library staff, and administrators to:
Develop and implement our Digital Citizenship curriculum for our elementary schools through modeling lessons, peer coaching and professional development
Expand curation and implementation of digital and print resources and tools
Communicate with the school community about the library program and resources
Promote a love of reading.
Essential characteristics:
familiarity with Common Core and California Model School Library Standards
ability to collaborate with a wide range of educators
joy of working with students
skills in providing prefessional development for staff and resources/workshops for families
disposition to explore digital tools for teaching and learning
knowledge of best practices to support English Learners

At least two (2) years library experience preferred
