Spartanburg Art Museum (SAM) presents
Lunch and Learn
Thursday, March 26
12:00 noon until 1:00 pm
"Collecting Perfume Bottles 101."
The featured speaker, Janice Boyd, has traveled the globe for more than 20 years
seeking out wonderful glass bottles and has built an astonishing collection.
The variety of these ornate glass bottles carries historical glass art perspective.
Bring a lunch and learn from Boyd
in the Callie & John Rainey Conference Room
This event is free and for all ages.
200 E. St. John Street in downtown Spartanburg
You are invited to join us on
Saturday, April 11th at 9:30 am
as we plant our Pinwheel Garden at Morgan Square.
This is a great event for kids and families.
And a great way to start some dialogue in your home or community about child abuse.
One pinwheel will be planted for each case of substantiated abuse and neglect in Spartanburg County last year. Do you know what that number is?
Chamlee Loscuito will speak briefly and the Honorable Junie White, Mayor of the City of Spartanburg, will have a special proclamation, followed by a Spoken Word performance.
The event will last around 30-45 minutes.
AND
Don't miss these special offers from SDA Member Businesses!
On Saturday, April 11th ONLY, these businesses will offer the
following to anyone that comes in and mentions child abuse prevention:
