Leonard Cohen has confirmed October 21st as the release date for his forthcoming 14th studio effort, You Want It Darker. The nine-track effort follows Popular Problems in 2014 and was produced by his son, Adam Cohen.

Along with the news, the elder Cohen — who celebrates his 82nd birthday today (!) — has given us the first official taste of the buzzed-about album with the sobering title track. If the song sounds vaguely familiar, it’s because it popped up during an episode of Netflix series Peaky Blinders back in June.

Check it out in full above.
