Christopher Walken is known for many things — his prolific film résumé, Oscar-winning role in 1978’s The Deer Hunter and seven hosting gigs on Saturday Night Live — but what arguably may be the most notable thing about the actor is his distinctive talking style. Bradley Cooper, Kevin Spacey and Kevin Pollak would agree.
In honor of Walken’s 72nd birthday on March 31, here’s a look at the seven best impressions of the actor. Watch below.
1. Kevin Spacey
While congratulating Mike Nichols for receiving the American Film Institute’s 38th Life Achievement Award, the House of Cards star joked that though Walken couldn’t be there himself, he had sent a telegram to extend his best wishes. Spacey then began putting on his best Walken impression before targeting Jack Nicholson next.

2. Bradley Cooper
Cooper has imitated a number of stars while appearing on talk shows, including Owen Wilson, Bill Clinton and Robert De Niro. Skip through the video above to 1:53, 2:45 and 3:58 to hear his best impersonations of Walken.
3. Saturday Night Live Cast
Christopher Walken had a family reunion on Saturday Night Live during a sketch entitled “Meet the Family.” Bill Hader, Andy Samberg, Amy Poehler, Kristen Wiig and other past and present SNL castmembers took turns imitating the actor’s distinct talking style while playing his relatives.
4. Kevin Pollak
The comedian has performed his impression of Christopher Walken on multiple occasions. On Late Night With Conan O’Brien, Pollak admitted: “Once I start doing him, I can’t really stop. … I’ll walk around the house, sometimes for a couple of hours, speaking only as Christopher Walken and not realizing I’m doing it.”
In a stand-up skit, the late actor and comedian imitated what Walken would sound like in a porn film.
6. Anthony Ahern
Ahern put on his best Walken voice for a mock cooking lesson in a sketch entitled “Cooking With Christopher Walken.”
7. Tina Fey
In an episode of 30 Rock, Tina Fey (as character Liz Lemon) did a short and sweet impersonation of the actor.
And if all of these weren’t enough, here are 10 more.
