REALLY A THANKSGIVING DAY !!..
These are some of our beautiful apple trees showing us the results of the cold and rain we have already had this fall. Already we are getting some good chill hours for the trees.
It's harder to work outside when the temperatures are under 50 degrees, but we know what good things can happen in the orchard with this coming week l of good frosts. Funny how differently we perceive the events around us since coming to the farm.

FARMSTAND FOR CHRISTMAS...
Tomorrow, we change to holiday colors and bring out more of our favorite gift items. We are getting more of the wonderful Groves on 41 Olive Oil, Darian's jams, jellies and mustards and the lovely orange marmalade from Tender Fork. Also, the freezer is getting a reload of large roasting chickens and beef from Templeton Hills. We are making wreaths again as well. They are perfect for front doors and are made entirely with greens, fresh, dried herbs and peppers from the farm. Examples up by Sunday - so come on by..
