During Summer Streets NYC 2017, seven miles of Gotham turf along Lafayette Street and Park Avenue is completely cleared of vehicles in order to create a pedestrian paradise. Hundreds and thousands of revelers descend upon the asphalt for invigorating sight-filled tours, plus free activities including a rock climbing wall, a zipline, outdoor art installations and misting stations.

Str8 West Coastin’ Project Parlor; 2pm; free
Looking for a California-backyard-party vibe, complete with carne asada and élotes on the grill? Well, then head to Str8 West Coastin’, where you’ll find expert selectors Still Life, Eleven and Dopeshoes playing only West Coast tuneage from the likes of Dre, Snoop, Cube, E-40 and Too Short. Snag top-notch swag like W-shaped foam hands (for Westsiiiiide), Tupac beer coozies, temporary tattoos while munching on some finger-lickin' BBQ. The party is totally free, but make sure to R.S.V.P. in advance.

MoMA PS1 Warm Up MoMA PS1; 3pm; $18–$22
The alfresco music series returns for the season bringing new sounds and DJs from all around the world. This year's highlights include bands, DJs and producers like Jackmaster, DADRAS, Jacques Greene, DJ Voices and more. This one is as reliable as they come. 

Get Your BJ On The Gowanus Experiment; 6pm; $20
This all–Billy Joel yoga class will have you flowing between poses while DJ Lee Mars flows through the singer-songwriter’s hits.

Holy Trinity: Bey x RiRi x Nicki Dance Party Baby’s All Right; midnight; $10
World, stop. Carry on. Prepare for a nonstop night of sweaty jubilation to the tunes of illuminati overlord Beyoncé, dark princess of pop Rihanna and rap’s reigning bad girl, Nicki Minaj. Philadelphia DJs Dame Luz and Wassup Gina bring this party to Brooklyn and spin the best radio hits, remixes and features all night long. This is what you came for.

DOPEBBQ Knockdown Center; 2pm; free
Show up early for free burgers, hot dogs and corn on the cob at this outdoor hootenanny. Grab a water gun or join in on a sweaty dance party courtesy of DJs L-Squared, Jus, Trueblends and Edakit. 

Romy & Michele’s Saturday Afternoon Tea Dance C’mon Everybody; 3pm; free
Make sure you don’t look as if you’re going to a hoedown at this day party inspired by the brilliantly subversive Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion. DJ Bright Light Bright Light plays a vinyl mix that will give you life, featuring hits and B-sides from Grace Jones, Spice Girls, Scissor Sisters, Ethel Merman and more. Be sure your interpretive-dance game is strong, or you won’t survive Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time.”

Explore three floors of ingenuity at this convention for creators, designers and fans of analog and digital gaming. Over 100 studios will show off their newest demos while composers, studio heads, writers and other industry veterans speak on the future of their mediums. You'll have no end to your obsessions.

Slurp down eight frozen cocktails at eight downtown bars—including Avenida Cantina, Wicked Willy’s Mama’s Bar and Slainte—during this hard-hitting, salt-rimmed crawl. Chips and dips will be on hand to keep you from falling over.

Wet Hot American Summer Videology Bar & Cinema; 5:15pm. 8pm; $20
Make it your beeswax to reserve a spot at this marshmallow-burning celebration of the legendary summer camp comedy, which has now returned in two Netflix series. While you witness talking cans, underdog training montages and phones being ripped out of walls, dig into s'mores made fresh at your table. 

Brooklyn Home Brew Takedown Hill Country Barbecue Market; 1pm; $25
Brooklyn’s self-brewing beer entrepreneurs and hobbyists get to flaunt their creations at this annual competition, which features unlimited sips. It’s your duty as a judge to try every brew.

The Big Quiet at MSG Madison Square Garden; 10am; $30
Mass meditation specialist the Big Quiet leads NYC’s largest-ever group meditation at Madison Square Garden. If you’re a first-timer, don’t be intimidated; there’s an active warm-up let by fitness brand Outdoor Voices (the brand is also giving out swag bags to court side seats and discount codes) and 20-minutes of guided instruction to begin.
