Hezbollah commander killed in Aleppo countryside

Haidar Fariz Merhi and Hussein Hassan Jawad, both from Lebanon’s western Bekaa town of Mashghara, were killed while fighting in the Nubbul and al-Zahraa area in the northern countryside of Aleppo,” Al-Arabiya reported.

The pro-Hezbollah South Lebanon news portal confirmed Merhi’s death, and described him as a Hezbollah commander.

According to Al-Arabiya, a third Hezbollah member was killed in Syria in recent days.

Al-Arabiya identified him as Ali Moussa Nassour, saying he was a native of the southern Beirut suburb of Bourj al-Barajneh.

Hundreds of Hezbollah terrorists have been killed in Syria since this militia began to intervene militarily in support of the Assad regime.
