Yes, it's  that month again...

It's that month, when coupledom is exalted, making it a bit difficult for people who are on their own romantically.

If you are feeling down, keep this fact in mind. While we don't wish the pain of breaking-up on anybody, know that although  Valentines Day is romanticized, studies show divorce filings skyrocket this time of year. Why? Possibilities include waiting until after the holidays, cabin fever thanks to storms like the Blizzard of 2016, waiting for a spouse's yearly bonus to go through, and being terribly disappointed with a Valentines Day that doesn't meet hyped expectations.
Bet this will give you chills ....

Since this can be a tough month for love (be it self-love or loving another), I'm sharing this short, heart-touching video created by a female band committed to helping people change their inner voices (i.e. squelch your inner critic) and realize "you are enough just the way you are."

Rather than feeling down on Valentines Day, we challenge you to treat yourself (and other important people in your life) with love and compassion. After all, the day is about love, and couples don't have a monopoly on love.

Buy yourself some flowers, chocolate, or a special experience with a group of friends who get where you are at -- and love you for who you really are!

Hope to see you soon,
Sharon

Happens again Sat. Feb 13 & it's for ladies
(We'll be coed again in March)
Yes, we are meeting the day before
that day, so we are planning to make it special.

Our guest speakers are:
  • Attorney  Alan Plevy, regularly listed in the  Washingtonian and  Northern Virginia  Magazine as one our area's top divorce attorneys, will disclose the 5 myths of divorce. He is licensed to practice in both Virginia and Maryland.  US News & World Report has named his firm one of the best in the US.

  • Want the scoop on working with a private eye? Our area's top private investigator, Mike Russell, will fill you in. For over 30 years he's been getting the evidence to prove your case. Even if you don't need a PI, you'll find his stories worth your time.

  • We've asked healing expert Rita Waters to work her magic and help you feel much better by treating you to a healing experience. She's very well qualified as a reiki master, reflexologist and Rubenfeld Synergy therapist.
And of course, you'll hear from cosponsors   Sharon Zarozny   and   Debbie Marson.

Note:  We are coed in March. Our very popular Judge/Attorney Panel returns in April!

Journaling: A Healing Workshop
Coming in March --  Details posted soon on our  website .

Want a tool you can use to shift to a fresh perspective and move forward?  Grab your journal (or some paper) and your favorite pen and join us at this 3-hour workshop designed to help you do just that. You'll learn journaling techniques to help you navigate the special challenges life often delivers.

Led by certified journaling therapist Deborah Ross, you'll be guided to get your brain's story -- your thoughts and emotions -- down on paper. Then, teaching you therapeutic journaling techniques, Deborah will help you step back and meet the inner workings of your brain/mind.

Your reward? You'll gain insight, a new perspective and the power to change.
