Kentucky Wesleyan's
Troy Paris has been named second team All-America by the American Baseball Coaches Association.
With this honor, he becomes the second All-American in Kentucky Wesleyan baseball history.
Paris, a junior designated hitter from Mt. Vernon, Ind. (Mt. Vernon H.S.), led Kentucky Wesleyan in batting average (.406), doubles (27), and On base Plus Slugging percentage (1.185).
He tied for the team lead in hits (73) and was second on the team in steals (11), runs (57) and third in RBI's (43).
He was the Great Midwest Athletic Conference leader in doubles and finished second in OPS, tied for third in hits, third in runs scored and tied for fourth in RBI's.
His other 2015 postseason honors include All-G-MAC, Daktronics and ABCA All-Midwest Region first teams and Daktronics honorable mention All-America.
The Panthers completed the season with a 32-18 record.
