Story
As the Syrian war continues there are many refugees with young children living in makeshift camps on the outskirts of towns and cities in Turkey. We aim to provide permanent accommodation for at least 15 families. We will take them off the streets and out of makeshift tents and into modern apartments. With winter approaching these refugees living in sub-standard shelters are particularly vulnerable. Help us to provide them with a decent home to enable them to settle and integrate into society, bring them some comfort and rebuild their lives.

6 years agoEvery child deserves an education. At the moment there are around 300 families living in the camps in Torbali, Izmir. Speaking to the families education for the children is one of the things they are asking for. There are around 50 children of school age but have had no education for the past 6 years. We are helping to provide such schooling that will prepare the children to enter into the Turkish school system. We aim to provide each child with a backpack containing pencil case, pens, pencils, eraser, ruler, notebooks etc.

7 years agoCan you imagine living here? This home to two Syrian families. Please help us to be able to find them better and more permanent accommodation. If you make a donation now the exchange rate for the pound to Turkish lira is very good at the moment which means we'll be able to do so much more!

7 years agoWe have just helped Aya's family on to a bus traveling to Trabzon where they will join family who have settled there. They escaped the bombing in the Idlib province of Syria, living on the streets of Turkey and loosing poor 3 year old Aya to pneumonia. Please help us to continue to help them and families like them.

Living in Turkey and seeing these Syrian families with young children living on the streets is heartbreaking. I have set up a drop in centre where they can come to keep dry and warm, have a warm meal and receive clothing but need help to fund accommodation for these families.
