Pottawatomie County deputies looking to serve a protective order on an individual near Tecumseh Tuesday were surprised to bump into another man wanted on several warrants.When Deputies Keith Webb and Scott Hawkins saw a man quickly jump into a vehicle, they realized why.The suspect, David Webb, was wanted on a warrant for failing to appear on a grand larceny case. He was out on bail according to Sheriff Mike Booth.David Webb led deputies through Pottawatomie County into Cleveland County, where Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers and Norman police joined in the pursuit, reaching speeds of 100 mph.“During the pursuit, the deputy kept reporting, 'Be careful. He’s reaching for something,'” Booth said.The chase ended when the suspect jumped out the vehicle and ran into a park, where deputies pulled out their weapons and ordered him to surrender.“You’re not gonna get away, even if you get away from us right now," Booth said. "We know who you are. We’re gonna get you anyways.”Charges against David Webb are still pending. Keith Webb and David Webb are not related.
