Crystal's Cancer Fight

In 2015 Crystal ended up in the emergency room for what we thought was an asthma attack & pneumonia, but doctors discovered a large ovarian cyst that was pushing on her lungs and other organs. Crystal had to have surgery a few weeks later and was diagnosed as having a juvenile granulosa cell tumor which is a very rare form of ovarian cancer. After recovering from surgery Crystal continued to be observed by her doctors to make sure everything was alright with her remaining ovary and the cancer did not spread. We thought everything was over with her cancer journey but unfortunately, in March 2016 Crystal was diagnosed with Grade 1 Uterine Cancer. Our entire world changed at the moment & in hopes of still carrying our own child, she immediately started treatment. During the first few months the treatment was working well and we were hopeful, but unfortunately her treatment has since stopped working. Crystal now needs to have surgery to remove this cancer from her body. This has shattered all hopes of her being able to carry our own child and surrogacy is our only option. We’ve have been blessed enough to have someone who is willing to carry our baby for us, but between medical expenses from Crystal’s cancer and the price of surrogacy it seems impossible.  Crystal and I need all the financial help we can get to pay for medical bills and try to afford the surrogacy process.
