SOUTH ABINGTON TOWNSHIP — State police said someone threw a rock and smashed the windshield of a pickup truck on the northeast extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike Sunday.
The rock hit a passenger, Joshua Stoddart, 20, from South Gibson, in the chest. The driver was not hurt.
He got off the Clarks Summit exit and drove Stoddart to the hospital in Scranton.
On Tuesday, Newswatch 16 spoke to the driver and his wife about the incident.
