We do love to provide you with the weird and wonderful, but even we can barely bee-lieve this. (Not sorry)
An amateur photographer managed to catch the exact moment a bee expelled its uric acid while flying. The image has caused a buzz online, as photographer Mark Parrott told the Grimsby Telegraph, "I was shocked with excitement when I saw the shot and couldn't believe what I was seeing. It’s difficult to get good close-up shots without a tripod and this one was taken handheld."
Parrott managed to capture the unusual image while photographing a swarm in his back garden in Grimsby, England.
