Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an annual international health campaign organized every October to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure.
This month, we’re creating Breast Cancer Awareness Wreath Pins to help spread the word about breast cancer prevention and treatment.
Supply List*
• Chenille stems dark pink, light pink
• Hot glue gun and glue sticks
• Pin back
• Needle nosed pliers are helpful but optional
• Scissors
*Volunteers are responsible for purchasing any of the materials needed for DIY opportunities.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to an overwhelming response to our monthly DIY projects, we can only accept 2 pins per participant.
Confirmed volunteers will receive 2 service hours for completing the project as described and submitting it to us prior to 4 PM on Friday, November 4th, 2016.
