Turn and Face the Change

Yesterday, in Paris, world leaders begin their official negotiations toward an international agreement on reducing emissions to keep global temperature rise below 2 degrees.

Most experts agree that even if all the participating nations agree and stick to their reduction promises that still won't be enough.

So, as independent think tank ResPublica argued:

"The task of campaigners and communicators from government, business and non-governmental organisations must therefore be to motivate both -

          (i) widespread adoption of ambitious private-sphere behavioral changes; and

(ii) widespread acceptance of – and indeed active demand for – ambitious new policy interventions."

That's why we launched Pivotal - an arts festival with a plan. To bring together a community that's ready for change.

We hope our roster of arts based events, running 30 November - 10 December, will interest, intrigue and inspire.

See the full list on our website, www.pivotal.org.uk, and highlights below. We hope you will have the chance to join us at some of these events, and in the future as we continue to talk about, think about, and be creative around the subject of change.
