Alpharetta Listed Among Best Cities For Tech Companies

The city was the only one in Georgia to make DataFox's list for 2016.

ALPHARETTA, GA -- The city of Alpharetta is once again gaining accolades for its business-friendly atmosphere.

DataFox, a company that specializes in helping salespeople maximize their efforts in reaching prospective clients, has named Alpharetta among its 2016 Best Cities for Tech outside California and New York.

The 13 municipalities on the list, DataFox notes, don't have their sights set on becoming the next Silicon Valley.

"Helped by strong public-private partnerships, centralized hubs that foster connections and innovation, and capital provided by established businesses, each of these cities is an excellent choice for tech workers," the company said, adding each city on the list has found what makes them unique and works to capitalize on that strength.

DataFox reviewed financial stability, affordability and business success as its metrics to come up with its list. It also took into account private companies founded after 2010, and cities with at least 30 of those companies meeting its criteria.

"With a high density of innovation and close access to Atlanta's top-tier universities, Alpharetta gives tech companies the benefits of a big city without the high cost," DataFox adds.
