My sister, Angela Cruz, was passionate about proclaiming and defending the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Savior and Lord of all. She was a daughter of two wonderful parents - Gary and Margaret Harrelson, the wife of a sacrifical husband - Alexis, the mother of two absolutely wonderful boys - Benjamin and Joshua, the sister of two crazy brothers - Michael and Timothy, and the aunt of two wild nephews - Ezekiel and Matthias.
Angela spent her life living, singing, and suffering for the gospel. She bore much pain in her body, suffering from many diseases and illnesses throughout her lifetime, especially throughout the last ten years. Yet, she was constantly thinking how she could share Jesus with her family and to all those who would hear her sing the wonders of our great God.
On Sunday, November 13, my sister went to be with Jesus after sudden renal failure. The doctors did all they could, but she was unable to recover.
From the first day, the church that she was apart of, Clearview Baptist Church, has been so gracious in all the support and love they have poured out upon the family through this time.
The money raised for Angela will go toward helping pay off the various medical expenses that the family now faces to pay off - including her last hospital visit even down to the various visits and medicines she needed throughout her life.
As we work through the grief, one of the ways that will enable the family - and specifically Alex, Ben, and Josh - to focus on working through their loss would be not have less of a stress and anxiety about how these bills will be paid off.
It's so hard to wrap our minds around what all has happened and what all that will mean in the future while also tending to all the bills, expenses, and logistics. As a donor, you will comfort and warm the hearts of Angela's family as we figure out how to work through a life without our most cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, and friend.
