Please help the Trasy family

My name is Michelle Beckman and I am writing this with a very heavy heart about two of the kindness, generous caring people that I have had the pleasure of having in my life.

They are Neel and April Trasy from Arras BC. And they could use all the support they can get right now and this is their story:

On December 26, 2016 Neel and April along with their 4 children Liam, Ewan, Maya and Noah left for Calgary Alberta.

While there Neel became very ill and was taken to Rocky View General  where he remained until today. Neel was bleeding internally and required 4 blood transfusions. His body then started producing clots in both lungs and legs. He was put on full oxygen as it was too difficult for him to breathe on his own.

Further investigations showed that Neel was suffering from a form of liver cancer, it was devastating to hear. However, this was soon found out to be a secondary form of cancer so more investigations began to find the source of the primary cancer.

The latest report suggests that primary duodenal carcinoma is invading the pancreas a malignant GIST tumor OR a-typical presentation of pancreatic carcinoma is invading the duodenum. There is widespread hepatic metastasis. Also, there are "suggestions" of early peritoneal carcinomatosis along his left flank.

Neel and April flew from Calgary Alberta to Vancouver BC  on January 12, 2017 where he can seek further treatment. At this time there are no dates/times given that he may return home.

Prior to Neel becoming ill he worked as a contractor which has ended their source of income. April is a stay at home mom who is always volunteering her time in the community and often fundraising for school trips, hockey etc.

Neel and April are always helping others and my hopes are that their kindness may be returned. I would like to thank everyone for taking the time to read, support, share, pray and donate so that we can get Neel on the road to recovery.

Thanks to everyone
xoxo
