Normally, when there’s a wait for luggage, it’s at airport baggage claim. But, right now people are willingly lining up for one suitcase in particular. Raden's new high-tech bag, which basically does everything but book your flight, currently has more than 7,000 people hoping for their Pink Gloss suitcase in the carry-on size—and the list is only growing.

"We had a waitlist of around 3,500 people pretty quickly,” Raden CEO Josh Udashkin tells Condé Nast Traveler. “As the word got out, it doubled with in a day and is now over 7,000 people.” Even celebrities are clamoring for the bag: Everyone from fashion journalist Nina Garcia and makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury to actresses Jessica Alba and Mandy Moore are fans of the brand.

What makes this suitcase so alluring? For one, the app-enabled case lets you know vital information like how much it weighs and the location of the bag when it’s out of your sight. It also charges your phone or laptop to a full battery up to four times with its battery pack, and has a live chat feature that gets answers to your customer service questions in real time. The physical Raden case is made with Makrolon Polycarbonate (a fancy material that makes the cases crack-resistant) and Japanese wheel bases with polyurethane tires to give them 360-degree maneuverability.

“Customers really appreciate a smart product that looks sleek and would be desirable even without the tech built in," adds Udashkin. And customers in general love that by and large, few other companies carry "millennial pink" luggage.

Want one for yourself? Starting January 20, the sold-out cases will finally be available for sale, shipping March 1, with the carry-on starting at $295.
