Get Ready for a Steam Punk Magnum Opus
Do you remember the Gangrene Film Festival: Full Steam where we entertained you with 45 minutes of original steampunk awesomeness?
 We have a big announcement: We are ready to release the original music from that show. Here's the lowdown.
Rustmonster is poised to release their biggest entertainment experience to date. It’s an album called Clockman: A Steampunk Rock Opera and we wanted to make sure we tell you about it.
We have just launched the Kickstarter and you are invited to take part. You can pre-order the album (available in early December) by backing the Kickstarter. Here’s the link:

About Clockman: A Steampunk Rock Opera
 After 10 years out of the studio, Rustmonster has composed and recorded their most ambitious project ever. Between the 8 members of the band, on this album, they played over 35 instruments, including some of our their creation. The music is fun and experimental. The album, of course, tells a story.
Clockman contains 80 minutes of music and narration. It unfolds a story of treachery, loss, and love, all set to the metallic rhythm and malady that Rustmonster fans have come to expect. Follow the story of Elliot Cross, a mild-mannered businessman as he is taken by the notorious Mac The Knife and delivered to the nefarious Doctor Von Driscoll for diabolical experimentation. Follow Elliot as he meets his love, a half-mechanized woman called Samoan Broadbent. Can they escape the clutches of Doctor Von Driscoll and find a place for themselves in the world?
The kickstarter offers tons of extras, including early demo tracks, a live recording of the album, a digital concert video download and more. By activating stretch goals, you can make the band work even harder by writing new songs. You can even help to commission Craig Nybo, musician and game designer (Children, Rites of Cthulhu, CHOPS, Shoot Your Friends) to write a new novel about the story behind the album.
