Fat Guys Tri for TX LODD Task Force

Fat Guys Tri is a group of firefighters who, as a team, compete in triathlons and other endurance events.
Cardiovascular health, which is too often taken for granted in our profession, is a key component in a firefighter’s life and career. For this reason, we have decided to race as if our citizens, our brothers, and our own lives depend on it.
As if that wasn’t enough motivation, we decided to make our races benefit the families of those who gave all. This year we have chosen Texas LODD Task Force as our philanthropy.
Our next event is Ironman 70.3 Austin, which will be held on October 30, 2016 in Austin, TX, where we will be competing as a team. Our goal is to raise 25% of the necessary funds to cover the Fallen Heroes Family Retreat. All net proceeds will go to Texas LODD Task Force to aid in this worthy cause.
