London bus passengers could soon be ordering pizza on board if a new trial by Dominos proves a success.

After delivering a pizza to a hungry passenger aboard a train, Domino's is trialling a new bus delivery service.

Hungry customers will now be able to order their pizza while on the bus and have it arrive at their chosen stop.

Domino's are trialling the new service in Blackpool but could be bringing it to London if it proves to be a success.

Domino's Blackpool operations manager David Woods said: "We like a challenge at Domino's, so after successfully delivering a pizza to a train, we wanted to go one step further and offer people pizza to a bus."

Passengers are also invited to take pizza selfies on board the bus for a chance to win prizes.

The first customer to use the service, Aaron Ryder, was delighted to receive his pizza on board the bus before work.

He said: "I was on my way to a lunchtime shift at work, when the bus driver anounced the new delivery service over the tannoy.

"I love a Mighty Meaty pizza so I was straight on the phone to see if I could get it before my journey ended - I did and it was delicious!"
