A group of unidentified Israeli settlers set alight a house belonging to the Dwabsheh family in the West Bank village of Duma last night.
The house of Mohammed Dwabsheh was set alight resulting in the family suffering from smoke inhalation, Sama News agency reported.
Ghassan Daghlas, the PLO’s officer in charge of the Israeli settlements’ profile said, “The way the house was burned looks very much like the way the house of Sa’ed Dawabsheh was burned in the same village a year ago, including the timing and the material used to burn it,” adding, “Palestinian citizens saw Israeli settlers running away after they set the house on fire.”

Israeli settlers set alight the house of Sa’ed Dwabsheh in July 2015, killing 18-month-old Ali Dawabsheh and both his parents. Ahmed Dawabsheh, the only survivor of the family, spent months in hospital receiving treatment.
Israeli settlers have formed what is known as “price tag” groups in the West Bank which carry out attacks against Palestinians, including burning their houses, crops, farms and uprooting their trees. The attacks also included carrying out arson attacks on mosques and churches.
