LOGAN SQUARE — Nothing says Christmas in Logan Square — heck, maybe even the whole city — like the decked-out house at Logan Boulevard and Talman Avenue.

You know the house — the one that is so spectacularly lit up that it looks like it belongs in a Christmas movie.

Each year, the house at 2656 W. Logan Blvd. draws thousands of fans like longtime Logan Square resident Elizabeth Chacon.

"When it snows, it's so beautiful," said Chacon, who has been bringing her kids and relatives to see the house every year for the last decade. "Every year, he does something different."

Chacon is referring to longtime owner Frank Lopez, who is responsible for the elaborate holiday light show.

Lopez has been transforming his house into a Christmas lover's dream every winter since 1983. He makes all of the decorations, from the palm trees to the reindeer herd, in his workshop, Chicago Wire Design Company, according to Chicagoist.

Every year, tons of kids drop off letters to Santa at Lopez's house. Lopez told the blog he used to deliver gifts to kids' homes, but now he usually only responds to a few letters with a "little something."

No word on how many letters Lopez has received or gifts he's given out this year, as he wasn't available for an interview, but here are some photos of his house in all its glory:
