Run by Cathy Brennan, 'Gender Identity Watch' is a page that claims that "the expansion of rights for transgender people has intruded upon the rights of Women". Along with claiming that allowing trans women to occupy the same spaces as cisgendered women would infringe upon the personal safety of cisgendered women, a claim with little substance. 

In order to see her goal through of advocating against transgender rights, Brennan has made a practice of humiliating and outing trans people. By releasing personal information about their trans status to employers, family, and through her page and website, many women and men have had not only their privacy violated but their personal safety risked. As trans people, especially trans women of color, are at risk to disportionately high rates of violence and assault, outing a trans person without their consent has the potential to be life risking. 

I am a trans man and I firmly believe that though I may not be part of the group Brennan is specifically targeting, targeting trans women is targeting my community as a whole. She outs and humilates trans people, spreads harmful and incorrect slander about my community, and targets anyone who speaks out against her. Many people in the trans community who know of the page are afraid to confront her or raise awareness in fear of being outed or retaliated against. 

Facebook is her primary means of reaching a wide audience. Many people have reported this page before but as it did not violate 'community standards', you did not remove the page. But as harmful as the page is, doing nothing will allow Cathy Brennan to continue attacking the transgender community. 

I implore you to put the safety and dignity of your users first and review 'Gender Identity Watch'.
