As the Lord grows me up in Him, I am learning that much of what we process ourselves through, are actually decisions, which need to be made. Through my own walk with the Lord I have discovered that most of the things I was taught was a process, were completely decisions I refused to make.

Everything the Lord has commanded us to do requires only our decision to do so. The commandment to love your neighbor as you love yourself, only requires your decision to carry it out. It’s not a process you need to grow to, or mature in. The commandment to forgive others that you may be forgiven, is not a process, but a decision to obey the Lord and forgive your brothers and sisters, husbands wives, and families period.

The Reason We Process

What is behind all of this processing is fear. The fear of being hurt again, the fear of looking like a fool, the fear of committing sin after you have decided not to; and the enemy utilizes this fear to keep you bound to things you could have been freed from years ago.

Another reason we continue in a perpetual state of process is self preservation. The desire to save ones self from humiliation, embarrassment or hurt, which is the main reason we continue in things God has commanded us to put away. The desire to save ones own life is a strong deterrent to obeying God’s commandments.

The scriptures states the following: “For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it (Mark17:33).”

Another reason we process ourselves through salvation is that we still enjoy the sin we are constantly engaged in. If it is promiscuity it is because we enjoy the pleasure received when committing such acts. Many of us in the Body of Christ are only chasing a feeling anyway. Our praise and worship is based on a feeling, our obedience is based on a feeling, our preaching and teaching, and many of the prophetic word is based on a feeling. Very little of what we do is based on obedience to the Word and will of Jesus Christ.

All of what is commanded us in scripture requires only our obedience, and we process ourselves even through this. We convince ourselves that we are not there yet, in other words: “I am not in the place to obey God in this area.” Placing our feelings, fears, and desires before the obedience of Christ. As if Jesus is not soon to return, or your life couldn’t be taken away at any moment.

If death should close your eyes, and you have not forgiven your brothers and sisters, or death finds you in sin at the time of his retrieval of you, where will you appear in the judgment?

This is a crucial time for the Body of Christ, it behooves us to be ready; not getting ready. Jesus is returning for a Church (Body of Holy Ghost filled Believers) who have made herself ready. We must not process ourselves through obstacles which require our decision.

The Hypocrisy Of The Church

The biggest falsity of the Body of Christ is her false sense of humility, while being hypocritical in the things of Christ. We condemn others for their short comings, while praising ourselves in our own. We condemn a world of sinner for being sinners, while we cover the atrocities done in the Body of Christ against Christ.

Children born without the commitment of marriage by several men to woman professing Holiness, but we better not say anything about that. Men and women engaged in homosexual relationships in the midst of the Holy Congregation of the Lord, but we don’t address that. Marriages being destroyed for foolish reasons, but we must overlook that. Yet we profess ourselves humble when we falsely proclaim: “I’m not there yet,” or “I’m just a sinner saved by grace.” Only so we can continue in the atrocities against God.

It would seem that it is a badge of honor not to be where God has commanded us to be. Therefore, we are proud to say “I’m not perfect,” when Jesus has commanded us to be perfect (Matthew 5:48).

When Will We Get There?

How long is it going to take you to get there? How long will you allow demons to keep you in a noncommittal state while precious time slips by? When will you make the decision to obey our Lord Jesus Christ in all He has commanded, regardless of what you feel about it, or your fear concerning full obedience to Christ Jesus?

These decisions require your full committance to Jesus Christ. It requires you to Love Jesus more than you love your hate, your unforgiveness, your fear, and yourself. Remember the words of Jesus: “He that loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me (Matthew 10:37).”

If you love your life more than you love Jesus you are not worthy of Him. Refusing to forgive out of fear that the person may hurt you again, is not permitted in Christ’s commandment. When you do this, you are attempting to preserve your own life. The same life which is not your own, but you gave it to Jesus Christ. It is His life now, and He decides what is appropriate for it. Whether to save if, or destroy it.

Things God Processes You Through

The things you are processed through are:

• Preparation for ministry
• Assignments
• Five-fold offices
• Maturing in Christ

However, obedience to the commandments of God through Jesus Christ are decisions.

The Reward

The greatest thing, and the most rewarding is when you decide to obey the Lord in all He commands; He joins you in the decision. You are not left alone. The weight of it becomes lighter and there is no fear of failure when He is walking it out with you.

Truly, it becomes a joy to forgive, to love your enemies, to do good to them who despitefully use you and mistreat you. To bless them who curse you and even persecute you.

How much we miss out on when we serve God in fear of disappointing Him. However, when we walk in the Spirit we do not fulfill the desires of the flesh, or of the mind and especially not fear.

The enemy desires to keep you from making a decision, because as long as you don’t make the decision to obey God completely, he has room to play and oppress you.

Please keep the following in mind:

• Forgiveness is a command
• Love your neighbor as you love yourself is a command
• Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you is a command.
• Judge not that you be not judged is a command

These along with many other such commandments given, the Lord expects us to obey regardless of what we feel about it. These are not processes to grow to, but decisions to be made, and that decision is to obey the commandments of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

You’ve Been Forgiven So Forgive

As it relates to forgiveness: how many times has the Lord forgiven your sins and shortcomings? How many times has He had to restore you from the bad decisions you’ve made?

How dare you not also forgive your fellow man for his sins and shortcomings. You hypocrite. Sweep around your own front door, before you sweep around someone else’s. Make sure your eye is clean before you attempt to clean someone else’s eye.

We all have sinned and come sort of the glory of God, but we don’t have to keep on sinning and coming short. We can make the decision to stand, and stand in obedience to everything the Lord has commanded. This, the enemy does not want you to know.

Your flesh is not a deterrent or an excuse not to obey God. Walk in the Spirit and you will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.

Decide to and you will do. The grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
