We are enrolling for a new stroke rehab trial at PT Cumberland Wellness

Devices for the Treatment of Adult Hemiplegia, Inc. a Massachusetts company, has developed a new investigational device (The Oppen Trainer^TM  ) for stroke rehabilitation that will soon be tested in a ten patient trial at Physical Therapy of Cumberland's  Wellness Center 1764 Mendon Rd #5, Cumberland, RI 02864.

In the Oppen Trainer^TM Study we will be examining how the use of an experimental device for bilateral lower extremity training might help improve the effectiveness of performing lower body strength and flexibility exercises.  We will also be studying if this improved exercise effectiveness might help provide a bridge that leads to improved  mobility.
