Traffic incident, Nambour

Police are investigating a traffic incident involving a car and pocket motor bike in Nambour this morning.

Initial investigations indicate the vehicles collided in Kerns Court about 8.15am.

The person riding the pocket bike, believed to be a 13-year-old boy, left the scene on foot.

The car was driven by an off-duty police officer.

All circumstances of this incident are being investigated including the manner of driving by the off-duty officer.

The Ethical Standards Command is assisting Sunshine Coast District with this investigation.
