Study Finds Yoga Can Help Back Pain ...
But Keep It Gentle

I was beyond thrilled to read this article about the benefits of yoga for back pain. And this is what I always try to emphasize when anyone comes to me with back pain wanting to try yoga:

Keep it gentle AND make sure you seek out the right teachers and style of yoga for you.

I would never encourage someone with serious back pain to jump into any old class. Speak to a teacher ahead of time. Be selective with the class you attend. And if you need extra attention, book a one-on-one session.

If you have questions about which class you should take or are interested in booking a private, simply hit reply to this email and lets chat. The best yoga is safe yoga.

Fall Mentorship
Spark Your Inner Teacher
Coming Fall 2017

Last fall I tried something brand new. I knew I wanted to work with my students who were attending my classes, but on a much deeper level. And I could feel the desire from them too. We would often find ourselves before, during, and after class lost in the most in-depth, beautiful conversations asking questions like:

How does our yoga practice inform the way we live, eat, breathe, move, think, and love?

I got to spend 3 months working very closely with a small group of human beings who probably taught me more than I taught them. Needless to say, I'm bringing this mentorship program back this fall. It will consist of one-on-one mentoring in a supportive, very small group setting.

Please stay tuned for my next newsletter with more details and information on how you can enroll. You are also always welcome to email me with questions.

XOXO
