Summer has arrived at Jekka's Herbetum

It has been a very busy and rewarding season, not only for us but also for our bees who have been enjoying the wonderful blossom. Half of the Herbetum is now entering its third year and is now really looking beautiful and established.

We are open for the National Garden Scheme this Sunday 12th July, from 10am to 4pm. There is a Â£5 entry, with all proceeds going to the NGS selected charities. Jekka will be giving free tours of the Herbetum at 11.30 and 2.30pm.

Thank you to everyone who visited for our NGS event in May, we raised over Â£500 for their chosen charities. We also raised over Â£400 for the RHS Apprentice Scheme during our RHS Open day in June.

We have had a wonderful May and June, the highlight being the Chelsea Flower Show where 4 of the show gardens for whom we grew plants were awarded Gold medals and our own trade stand was awarded 4 Gold stars, which is brilliant for a small stand.

A Perfumerâ€™s Garden in Grasse by Lâ€™Occitane, designed by James Basson. This proved a horticultural challenge as James wanted all the herbs to look as nature intended, woody and with their seed heads still on - no pruning allowed!

Jekka's Masterclasses
Without exception all of Jekka's Masterclasses have been a great success this year, here are some of the feed back from our participants;
