(CCIW) - The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin released its annual Academic All-Conference honorees. Carroll University was represented by 12 student-athletes on the women's lacrosse Academic All-CCIW team.
 
Recipients from Carroll included Laura Ahlgren, Karla De La Rosa, Courtney Enderby, Zoe Flynn, Amanda Gibble, Betty Koenig, Morgan McHugh, Marcela Monaco, Hannah Morrow, Olivia Sheehan, Taylor Wagner and Jennifer Williams.
 
The Pioneers completed their first-ever competitive season in women's lacrosse in 2015.
 
Each member school in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) selects student-athletes from each of the three sport seasons (e.g., fall, winter, spring) to be honored as Academic All-Conference members. To be eligible, an individual must have an overall grade point average of 3.30 or above and must have lettered in their respective sport for that season. Transfer students and freshmen are eligible for this award.
