Was this an air-lifted message from the grave?

Grief-stricken Sandy and Saige Seibold got an amazing surprise on Father’s Day, after they visited the Oklahoma gravesite of their husband and father Johnny, who lost his battle with pacreatic cancer and died in May at age 43.

“He was an amazing man,” Sandy Seibold told the Daily News. “He was a hard worker, and he loved us. He did everything he could to get us everything that we wanted. We had a really good life, and that was hard to lose.”

The mother and daughter visited Johnny’s grave on Father’s Day and got an unexpected, amazing sign that has helped them begin to overcome their pain.

Saige, 13, composed a handwritten note at the gravesite in which she explained that her father had recently died and asked whoever found her message to contact her. She tied the letter to a balloon that said “#1 Dad” and then bundled it up with seven other balloons.

When they left the cemetery in Sterling, Okla., then drove 25 miles to their home in Clement.

That’s when Saige made a surprising discovery.

Her letter was waiting for them on a fence in the backyard near a spot where Saige often spent time with her father, who worked as a welder.

She told TV Station KFOR that she and her family believe that Johnny somehow sent them the balloon.

Sandy called the whole situation incredible – especially since the balloon beat them home.

“We felt it was a sign from my husband to let us know he was OK and to quit worrying about him,” she said.
