Bennett sat down with senior correspondent Jeffrey Brown to talk about the partnership. “We hit it off the minute we met,” Bennett said. Three years ago, Bennett collaborated with a range of powerhouse performers, including Aretha Franklin, Willie Nelson, Amy Winehouse, as well as Lady Gaga, for an album of “Duets II.” It was their first time singing together and it inspired the two all-stars to make “Cheek to Cheek.” Tune in to tonight’s broadcast of the PBS NewsHour to watch Jeff’s conversation with Tony Bennett.
