Did you know that Louisiana has the biggest gender pay gap of all 50 states, with women earning only 68.7% of what men are earning? Join us on April 9 to learn how to approach the job market with confidence, knowledge and skills necessary to negotiate salary and benefits.

In this two-hour workshop, students will learn:
 - how the gender wage gap affects their lives
 - how to develop a personal budget to determine salary needs
 - how to benchmark salary and benefits
 - how to negotiate for their first salary out of college

Join both Tulane Women in Technology and New Orleans Women in Technology for this collaborative workshop. It is being facilitated by Dr. Karen Reichard of the Newcomb College Institute at Tulane University.  Although some content is aimed at recent college graduates, most information provided will be applicable to salary negotiation in general.
