The Aurora University men's Lacrosse helped put on a free clinic at West Aurora High School on the weekend of September 13 and 14, 2014.

For the first time in 2015, West Aurora will be fielding a lacrosse team so the Spartans helped out with their experience for the game to teach some local Aurora youth the game.

Participants learned the basic fundamentals with approximately 25 youth taking in the lessons. "It is pretty cool to see lacrosse spreading to this area," said AU Head Coach Kylor Berkman. "It's a great sport that is fun to play at all levels."

Current Spartan players jumped at the opportunity to teach kids who are brand new to the game with all involved having fun and taking something away from the event.
