SDA Welcomes Another New Member! 
Motte and Sons Bootlegging Co. is a family owned and operated Micro-Distillery
and Retail Store located at 220 E. Daniel Morgan Avenue.
Eugenia Motte manages the business, with help from her husband Mike, their four sons
and the family dog, Whiskey. Their product line includes "The General," an American Light Whiskey, which features Revolutionary War hero Daniel Morgan on the label, a vodka,
light and dark rum and brandy, all of which are made and bottled on-site.
Motte and Sons Bootlegging Co. is open for tastings, tours, and sales from 11-7 Monday through Saturday. We had an awesome weekend downtown and also enjoyed servicing several guests that we shuttled from the Spartanburg Marriot to a private party in Boiling Springs. The majority of the guests were out of town visitors from Pittsburgh and Texas. A good bit of the group had visited Spartanburg in the past and were somewhat familiar with downtown Spartanburg, but they were impressed with how the city has expanded and developed the downtown area. It felt great to know that The Valet and our other fellow SDA members are indeed a great contribution to the progressive culture that is being created downtown and spreading throughout the city of Spartanburg. We hope that everyone has a great week and continues to grow.
