Suspicious fire, Strathpine

Police are investigating a building fire that occurred overnight in Strathpine.

At around 2.30am police and emergency services were called to the fire at a school on Gympie Road.

Emergency services extinguished the fire before it took hold of the building which was unoccupied at the time.

A crime scene has been established and the fire is being treated as suspicious.

Investigations are continuing and anyone who may have information about this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers or Policelink on 131 444.
